Supervision details
I am a humanistic supervisor and I follow the Proctor approach of Normative, Formative and Restorative Supervision Practice and the 7-eyed model of Supervision by Hawkins and Shohet. I believe in carefully following the therapist's process in relation to clients, client work, and their own lives. This means asking therapists to be congruent to their own process so we can identify the transferences, projections and parallel processes taking place in your work together. And if I ask for you to be open top your process, I must challenge myself to do the same. I see supervision very much as a two-way learning process, and whilst I will share my knowledge and experience with you, I also look forward to learning from you. I invite you to come and meet with me and we can decide how well we can work together.
