Supervision details
I can provide supervision to other registered psychologists and other professionals using the same core therapies which I practice myself working with adults across a range of difficulties including those which are mild, moderate and severe. I have specialist experience working with eating disorders, surgery/ cosmetic patients and those difficulties usually seen with Community Mental Health Teams. I use CBT, DBT, CFT and Mindfulness in my own practice. I am also trained in ACT and EMDR but would not offer supervision focusing on these modalities. I am listed on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors. I have experience of training other psychologists to become supervisors in the NHS. £60 per hour for supervision for non HCPC registered clinicians £120 for HCPC registered psychologists.
British Psychological Society
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
