I offer supervision that provides a warm, reflective containing space to trainee and qualified therapists allowing all aspects of clinical practice to be explored; ensuring safe and ethical practice.
I am a Masters Qualified BACP Senior Accredited (SCoPEd Framework Column C) highly qualified and experienced Relational Integrative Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Couples Counsellor & Clinical Supervisor. I gained a Master of Arts in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Leeds Beckett University.
I have significant experience working in the NHS, Higher Education and Voluntary Sectors, GP Referrals, Leeds City Council Adoption Services; holding an established Private Practice for over 13 years. As a Relational Integrative practitioner my work is rooted in the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
My Supervisory Role
I consider my supervisory role as a holding space where yourself, as therapist, can feel well held and supported. My aim will be to develop our supervisory relationship where you feel safe to explore all of your client work in an environment of openness, warmth, trust, genuiness and respect. Allowing space for gentle challenge, reflection and curiosity, noting the impact of your work upon yourself and your clients. Helping you to develop and flourish in your role as a competent practitioner.

As an Approved Clinical Supervisor for Leeds Beckett University I offer Supervision and Therapy to students throughout their Counselling & Psychotherapy training and beyond.

I am committed to monitoring my own supervisory practice and ongoing self development ensuring my practice remains ethically rooted in best practice.
Supervisor forum membership
As a member of a Supervisors Forum I meet regularly with senior professionals to enhance clinical growth, address emerging research, techniques and specialized areas of practice. Sharing complex situations, transference and the maintenance of ethical boundaries enhances my own clinical judgement.

Model and Relational Supervisory Approach
My Supervisory training is primarily based upon the Hawkins and Shohet Seven Eyed Model. The Relational aspect of this model sits comfortably alongside my training as a Relational Psychotherapist. The model has its focus on the relationship between client, therapist and supervisor noting the interplay between each relationship and their context within a wider system. Therefore, providing a framework to explore dynamics appearing within the supervisory process from multiple viewpoints to support reflective and insightful practice.
I offer Supervision to :

Adults working in Mental Health professions requiring a safe, reflective space to support their work and enhance best practice
My fees:
£60 per hour of Supervision for qualified therapists
£50 per 60 mins for trainee therapists
£65 per 60 mins for Organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
