“Supervision is the joint exploration of material presented by the Supervisee. It involves the recognition that each party in supervision has different types of knowledge and experience (so that the Supervisee has greater knowledge of the client than the Supervisor, even if the Supervisor may have greater experience of therapy than the Supervisee); and it rests on the belief that despite large areas where there is little knowledge, in the dialogue of supervision itself there is always the possibility of greater understanding.”

My name is Luisa and I am integrative supervisor trained in different modalities including the Person-centred approach, humanistic approach,CBT, psychodynamic, TA and Gestalt,

I specialise in working with both adults and Children and work with anxiety depression and trauma and have training in Neuroscience, attachment and resilience.

My professional experience is in family work includes using Play Therapy interventions  and Creative Therapy to aid my work . I have a 20 year background in working in childcare and with individuals with health conditions , with autism or behaviour difficulties and special needs ,learning difficulties so can support multiple specialities.

I have worked in both Children’s centres and as a school Counsellor and run a private practice in Watford Hertfordshire.

I offer Weekdays and evenings sessions in my clinic at the Bettercare Clinic in Watford

I aspire to provide a caring and non-judgemental style to our supervisory relationship  focusing on providing a collaborative environment where supervisees feel supported to meet any aspects of their client work that maybe challenging . Together we will explore the therapeutic work and discover affective skills to enhance the client work manage ethical issues  including any dilemmas that might arise.
