My name is Luisa and I am integrative supervisor trained in several modalities including the Person-centred approach, humanistic approach, CBT, Psychodynamic , TA and Gestalt theory  I have worked in the caring field for over twenty years and have a great deal of experience working alongside families adults and children with additional needs as a School counsellor, in children centres and in schools and have worked in local counselling agencies in Tring Dunstable and St Albans. I currently work alongside Home- start Watford as a clinical assessor so have experience in working with extremely vulnerable  family’s and charity’s. I set up Vocalise my private practice in 2017  I Work with both adults and Children/ teens from the bettercare clinic in central Watford .I also freelance in schools and offer home visits when needed. I offer you a free 30 minute chat to establish what you’re looking for in a Supervisor as it’s important that you have a feel of what to expect and  then if you wish we can discuss further how we can progress forward into establishing a working alliance .                                                Finding  the right supervisor is so important, I believe Affective supervision Is about feeling  safe ,valued and supported and empowering and gaining a greater sense of resilience and ability and knowledge in supporting clients. I offer individual or group supervision 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minutes supervision session. .I am member of the BACP and Hold a OCN certificate in Counselling Supervision My specialist knowledge is in Trauma work and  attachment disorders, spacial needs including ASD, ADHD, family support  for both adults and children using creative and Play Therapy interventions to aid my work . I have a 20 year background in working in childcare field and with individuals with health conditions including autism disorder or behaviour difficulties and special needs ,learning difficulties so can support a broad range of difficulty’s and have multiple specialities. I have Supported Supervisee working with both agencies and in private practice  Vocalise counselling is my private practice located in Watford Hertfordshire ,where I work closely with peers and there are many different counsellors offering specific support so if I can’t help you I can signpost to others. I offer Weekdays and evenings sessions in my clinic at the Bettercare Clinic in Watford I hold an OCN certificate in Supervision and offer integrative Supervision to groups and individuals, including trainees and experienced therapists.  I aspire to provide a warm and caring and non-judgemental style to our supervisory relationship  focusing on providing a collaborative environment where supervisees feel supported to meet any aspects of their client work that maybe challenging . Together we will explore the therapeutic work and discover affective skills to enhance the client work, managing ethics issues  including any safeguarding Child protection dilemmas that might arise.​My intention is to meet the needs of both the clients and counsellor  to monitor and encourage self-reflection and self care and provide a relationship that is both robust, accepting, informative and and supportive. Supervision fees £50 per hour £65 for 1hr 30 hour session

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
