In these stressful pandemic times, It’s understandable to experience low energy , overwhelming or intrusive thoughts or feelings of anxiety, depression, or frustration whether your a child, adult, or Young adult, these reactions are normal during challenging situations that are unexpected or uncontrollable.

Hello. My name is Luisa Urey and my therapy practice is called vocalise therapy , we specialise in working with both Adults and Children , offering counselling and mentoring.

I also offer clinical external supervision to students and qualified counsellors. And I’m a clinical assessor at Homestart in Watford supporting  family’s.

recently I have noticed there’s been a  increase in clients experiencing difficulty in maintaining relationships or feelings over loaded with their anxiety or negative feelings, and having panic attacks,  I have also seen parents becoming increasingly frustrated by their children's behaviour at school or home around their use of social media and technology use , resulting in increased anger, or rudeness.

I aim to support you or your families and have spent many years working in schools and with invidious over25 years and have worked with many Children and Adults with special needs and challenges.

I am a Special needs trained NNEB Nursery Nurse as well as Counsellor.

I freelance as a clinical assessor at Homestart Watford alongside working in private practice.

I previously co-ordinated Leavesden Children Centre Counselling Service working with both adults and their families - experiencing mental health issues, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, postnatal depression, anger issues and anxiety disorder.

I also recently worked as a Child Therapist for Kings Langley Pupil Support Service, providing emotional support, counselling and mentoring to children experiencing mental health difficulties in 6 schools around Hertfordshire before settling up in private practice.

Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

My practice Vocalise Therapy can be found at http://www.bettercareclinic.co.uk in central Watford, where parking is available. I also freelance in schools and in the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire area.
