Supervision details
I am an experienced supervisor, with BPS recognised training in the supervision of mental health professionals. I have considerable experience in the supervision of Clinical Psychologists, Trainee Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, CBT therapists, mental health nurses and nursing assistants. I offer a warm and supportive space for the safe exploration of issues arising out of clinical work. I practice in a collegiate and respectful manner and recognise the vital need for the the supervisor-supervisee relationship to be one which empowers personal and professional growth.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
