I am an experienced supervisor having offered individual & group supervision to a variety of professionals including Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, Nurses, Drug-Workers, Social Workers and CBT therapists.I appreciate the importance of finding the right supervisor who can be both nurturing and supporting whilst also challenging and encouraging growth. I offer supervision to those working with adults and specialise in supervising those who with clients with complex presentations.I use various psychological models to help support supervision. The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
