Supervision details

Clinical Supervision
I am a qualified clinical supervisor and have been offering supervision since 2015. I work with both trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, providing a reflective and supportive space for you to think about your client work and your development as a practitioner.

My approach to supervision is collaborative and thoughtful. I see it as a space where you can slow things down, reflect openly, and feel supported in your clinical decision-making. I aim to create an environment where you feel able to bring both your confidence and your uncertainties, without judgement.

In our work together, we may explore what is happening for your client, your responses to the work, and the wider context in which the therapy is taking place. This includes thinking about the therapeutic relationship, the dynamics that may be emerging, and how your own way of being as a practitioner is involved in the process.

I also hold in mind the broader professional and ethical context of the work, supporting you to practise in a way that feels both grounded and responsible.

I work in a way that is attentive, relational, and respectful of your individual style. Whether you are in training or an experienced practitioner, my aim is to support you in developing confidence, clarity, and depth in your work.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
