Supervision details
I am a Level 6 qualified Supervisor to work online or face to face. I am a Senior Accredited Supervisor & Therapist with NCS. I am Accredited with BACP. I qualified 12 years ago and enjoy working alongside and supporting other Counsellors. I myself work with clients aged 4 to 90 years old so have a vast experience. I am happy to supervise you as an individual or you may come as a group.I am passionate about using creativity to help my supervisees get in touch with their innermost thoughts and feelings around their client work. I can provide you with as journey of exploration, using many different techniques and materials as well as the rich experience of the imagination and the senses. I hope I can inspire you and I guarantee that I will be 100% supportive. I believe there are various elements to supervision: - 1) Case Management - Supervisees present their clients to explore and address any concerns/issues & I can gently challenge. 2) Support & Training - I am happy to mentor Supervisees, encourage relevant CPD courses, or help identify any specific training needs. 3) Working Alliance - I am ethical and boundaried with a good rapport I will ensure your safety and that of your clients. I am an integrative counsellor but love CBT approaches too. I charge Supervisees £55 an hour so £82.50 if you require 90 minutes. I can offer shorter slots or can offer cover if your Supervisor is away. I am flexible with appointment times as I work daytimes, evenings and Saturdays
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
