Supervision details
I am an experienced and qualified Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and Supervisor. I completed my level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision with CPCAB, worked as a Supervisor at the Bower House in Market Harborough and have my own private supervisees.
I am a Senior Accredited member of both the National Counselling Society (MCS Acc.) and the National Hypnotherapy Society (MCS Acc.) and follow the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy set by these associations. I am also registered on the Accredited Voluntary Register for Counsellors and Hypnotherapists (AVR).
I work integratively as a therapist and supervisor. Transactional Analysis is the therapeutic approach that informs my work the most as a Counsellor and Supervisor. I also incorporate CBT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic and Person Centred approaches. Some of the areas work in are weight-loss, smoking cessation, anxiety disorders and phobias, OCD, stress-management, pain-management, motivation and confidence building, relationship issues, anger-management, PTSD, trauma, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, public speaking and self-esteem and resilience building. I am also a Hypnobirthing and Oncology Practioner.
Whether you are a qualified hypnotherapist or counsellor or in the process of training, our supervision sessions will help you grow, learn, and continuously improve your practice, heling you to navigate complex therapeutic challenges and foster your own professional growth.
