Supervision details
I am an experienced and qualified Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and Supervisor with a CPCAB level 6 Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I have worked as a Supervisor at the Bower House in Market Harborough and have my own private practice.
I utilise the 7-Eyed Model of Supervision to provide a comprehensive and reflective framework for supervisio and as a lens to ensure all aspects of the client’s experience and the counsellor’s development are thoroughly considered.
Drawing from Transactional Analysis (TA), Iincorporates key concepts of ego states, transactions, and script analysis into supervision sessions. This approach allows counsellors to gain insight into their relational dynamics, enhancing their self-awareness and understanding of how their interactions with clients may be influenced by their own histories. By understanding these dynamics, I can support counsellors in developing healthier and more effective therapeutic relationships.
I also adopt an integrative approach that combines various therapeutic modalities and techniques to meet the unique needs of each counsellor. This flexibility allows for exploration of different strategies and interventions, promoting professional growth and creativity in practice. Together, we can address specific challenges, refine skills, and encourage innovative approaches to counselling.
Through supervision sessions, my goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where counsellors feel empowered to reflect on their practice, receive constructive feedback, and explore their professional development.
