Supervision details
Hi! My name is Jenny, I've just completed my Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online and Telephone Working with Counselling Tutor and am now working towards gaining my supervision hours to officially qualify. Supervision with me is free while I gain my supervision hours. After this, I'll charge £60 per hour or £75 per 1.5 hours.
I'm an integrative therapist with additional qualifications in NLP, hypnotherapy and Mnemodynamic Therapy. I set up my private practice, Cloud9 Therapy, in 2012. One of my main specialities is anxiety because I suffered with severe anxiety disorders and panic in my twenties. Anxiety can affect people in different ways, and there are many reasons that someone may feel anxious, so I felt it was important to expand my knowledge base and coping techniques to help as many people as possible. I believe that additional training and continuing professional development are essential to expand the tools and knowledge we use to assist clients.
In addition to my private practice, I own Chelmsford Therapy Rooms, a room rental and referral organisation. I decided to train as a supervisor to help fellow therapists grow and develop in their careers. My approach is rooted in a person-centred style of therapy with other modalities mixed in, including Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, CBT, NLP, and many others. My research and additional training have led me to train other therapists in CPD. I write and produce my own CPD courses in many different areas and approaches. I have my own training platform, CTRN Training, and have also presented my courses via Onlinevents for the last few years.
I'm based in Chelmsford, Essex, but am able to provide supervision online via Zoom. I have a straightforward but empathic strategy when working with clients, and this is the same approach I take in supervision. I believe that supervisees should be supported in every aspect of their work, challenged in a kind, nonjudgmental way, and feel secure enough to voice concerns, safe in the knowledge that they will be heard and encouraged.
