Supervision details

My Approach

I offer clinical supervision from an integrative perspective, drawing on core training in psychodynamic, person-centred, intercultural, and existential approaches. I also draw on the IERA-Therapy approach, working with intergenerational trauma, epigenetics, and anti-oppressive practice, alongside CBT exercises and creative inner-child work, with an emphasis on difference and diversity.

I work from a holistic and relational grounding, supporting supervisees to explore the parallel processes at play and their own position within their clinical work, while maintaining strong theoretical and relational connections with their clients.

Our Supervision Relationship

My role as your supervisor is to offer a broader perspective on the supervisory triad – you, your client, and myself – providing realistic support, resources, challenge, insight, ethical structure, and learning.

As a CPCAB L5 Counselling Tutor, Reiki Master, yoga teacher and nutritional advisor, I also understand the need and importance of recognising and working with ‘the whole Being’. I use this to guide and support you in encompassing all of your client, as well as yourself, in the process.

Supervision Experience

I have over twelve years' experience providing clinical supervision to therapists and frontline workers working in both private practice and charitable organisations, including Victim Support, Nia, RAPt and RASAC.  I offer individual and group supervision to newly qualified and experienced therapists, in-person and online.

I also work as a counselling lecturer in a college and through my own organisation, the Epigenetic Relational Therapy Academy, so I have sound and up-to-date knowledge of the trainee requirements of the CPCAB, alongside understanding of numerous theoretical approaches and techniques.

If you are an organisation, please feel free to visit my website at - www.theequilibriumcoach.com or email me to discuss your requirements.

FEES: £80.00 per hourly individual session £120.00 per ninety-minute individual session.

£200.00 per two hour Group Supervision Session (up to 4 members).

Thank you for viewing my profile and I look forward to connecting with you.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
