Supervision details

I offer Clinical Supervision from an integrative approach; with my core training coming from the Psychodynamic, Person-Centred and Existential approaches.  I also use CBT exercises and creative inner child work, with an emphasis on difference and diversity.

I work from a holistic and therapeutic grounding, working with Supervisees to understand the parallel processes at play, their own part and input within their clinical practice, while maintaining the theoretical and relational connection with clients and the work.   My role as a Supervisor is to provide a bird's eye view of the triad that our relationship consists of (you, the client, and I, your Supervisor), working to offer support, challenge, insight, ethical structure and learning.

As a CPCAB Counselling Tutor, Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher and Nutritional Advisor, I also understand the need and importance of recognising and working with ‘the whole Being’. I use this to guide and support you in encompassing all of your client, as well as yourself, in the process.

Supervision Experience:  I have provided Clinical Supervision to some of the staff of Charities such as Victim Support and RAPt, currently working with therapist who support the survivors of childhood abuse and trafficking. I offer group and individual Supervision to newly qualified and seasoned Therapists, in-person and through Zoom.

I also work as a Visiting Counselling Lecturer privately and for a College, so have sound and up-to-date knowledge of the trainee requirements of the CPCAB, alongside understanding of numerous theoretical approaches and techniques.

If you are an Organisation looking for a professional, creative and integrative Supervisor, please feel free to visit my website at - or telephone me for an informal chat about your needs and requirements.

FEES: £70.00 per hourly individual session £120.00 per ninety-minute individual session.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
