I am a highly experienced, accredited counselling practitioner offering supervision.
I offer you a professional, but relaxed, place in which to collaboratively explore and reflect upon your practice. I bring a non-defensive attitude, patience, humour and honesty to our relationship. I enjoy working with, and learning from, the therapists I form this supervisory relationship with. I am comfortable working with supervisees from other theoretical backgrounds and approaches. I enjoy the privilege of working with experienced, newly qualified or trainee therapists.
I have been running my own private practice for over a decade with previous work across a wide range of therapeutic contexts including working with young people in schools, bereavement care, the NHS and with survivors of sexual abuse. I am a qualified psychologist and I undertook my counselling training within the Person Centred Approach. I have particular interests in trauma and attachment. I am trained in EMDR. I base my practice on an integrative perspective, rooted in a humanistic framework which has been developed through a variety of training throughout my career.
I am an accredited member of BACP and work within BACP’s ethical framework.
I currently work in person in my office in Bishopbriggs in East Dunbartonshire and offer online video supervision via zoom.
