Cherril Wilson-Toft MBACP (Accred), MA (Counselling), PG Cert. Supervision
Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision (2007, University of Leeds)
I currently work as a group supervisor for nurses and provide individual supervision for doctors, accredited and non-accredited counsellors and trainee counsellors and welcome new supervisees.
I seek to agree mutual goals and be transparent and responsive in my approach. Together we will create a reflective space that can be supportive, challenging and creative for both experienced practitioners and trainee counsellors. I believe that supervision is an important part of taking care of oneself and having reflective space is an important part of that process.
My practice is informed by the theoretical models of Hawkins & Shohet, Wosket and the creative approaches of Inskip and Proctor.
I have provided group and individual supervision for counsellors in training and accredited counsellor working in a range of contexts including primary cre, counselling agencies and charities.
I am experienced in working with supervisees whose underpinning theoretical orientations include person centred, integrative, psychodynamic and CBT.
Supervision sessions are usually £60.00 for an hour and a half but I will negotiate fees for trainee counsellors.
