Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision (2007, University of Leeds)
I seek to agree mutual goals and be transparent and responsive in my approach. Together we will create a reflective space that can be supportive, challenging and creative for both experienced practitioners and trainee counsellors. I believe that supervision is an important part of taking care of oneself and having reflective space is an important part of that process.
My expereince as a supervisor includes group supervision and individual supervision. In addition to providing clinical supervision for qualified, accredited and trainee counsellors, I have also provided supervision for individuals working in other professions: doctors, nurses and trainers.
The clinical supervision I provide includes those working in private practice and counsellors working in a range of contexts including primary care, counselling agencies and charities.
My practice is informed by the theoretical models of Hawkins & Shohet, Wosket and the creative approaches of Inskip and Proctor.
I am experienced in working with supervisees whose underpinning theoretical orientations include person centred, integrative, psychodynamic and CBT.
Supervision Fees
Supervision sessions are usually £60.00 for an hour and a half but I will negotiate fees for trainee counsellors.
