Supervision details
Supervision is not only a requirement, it can be a useful part of your growth as a therapist. It has to be remembered that we work alone. Supervision is an opportunity then to reflect on what that is like; to air concerns about the work, to ask for guidance, to let another professional see you. In a long-term supervision relationship, the supervisor is the one person who is able to ‘keep an eye on you’, to ensure you are ok, to help you reflect on how you are managing and to help you to best help your clients.
