I am a BACP Senior Accredited counsellor with over twenty years' experience and am also a qualified supervisor with over ten years' experience.
In supervision, I provide a safe space for supervisees to reflect on their work and the impact it has on them, in order to keep them in a good place to practice.
Using the Seven-Eyed Model, we explore the relationships between supervisee and client and the environment(s) you work in.
The oft-repeated phrase that the counsellor is the most important tool in the room is paramount for me. Good supervision provides practitioners with the support to continue to work effectively, so my aim is to provide a warm environment where the supervisee can be free to honestly discuss their work.
I offer sessions fortnightly or monthly depending on a supervisee's workload and clinical experience. I see individuals for 1:1 supervision or in small groups.
I have worked in the NHS, charity sector and private practice so hopefully have experience to share that will be useful.
My consulting room is in CB1, five minutes drive from Addenbrooke's Hospital. Parking is available on the driveway.
