Supervision details

Senior clinical expertise meets genuine relational warmth: A collaborative space to deepen your practice, prevent burnout, and master a relational way of working.

As an HCPC Registered Consultant Counselling Psychologist and a founding Clinical Director at Attune Psychology & Coaching, I provide high-quality, reflective clinical supervision for qualified psychologists, therapists, and trainees. Moving completely away from rigid, institutional distance, I offer a collaborative, authentic partnership where you can safely explore your clinical edge, navigate complex dilemmas, and protect your own well-being.

Supervision should be much more than a clinical checklist. I provide a secure, non-judgmental container designed to support both your professional growth and your internal landscape as a practitioner:

Developing Reflective Functioning: We will work on deepening your capacity to mentalize and think dynamically about your clients' inner worlds, helping you untangle complex, stuck dynamics with clarity and nuance.

Space to Process Your Own Feelings: Grounded in relational models, I offer a dedicated space to safely explore your own emotional responses, triggers, and bodily countertransference. Understanding what a client activates in you is often the key to unlocking the therapeutic work.

Bridging Theory and Human Reality: We will seamlessly blend advanced therapeutic models with genuine human warmth. I help you master the application of complex frameworks without losing your authenticity, intuition, or spontaneous clinical presence.

Protecting Against Burnout & Secondary Trauma: Holding heavy trauma requires a steady anchor. I prioritize your psychological sustainability, helping you process systemic stress, manage institutional burnout, and maintain healthy professional boundaries.

My supervision style is deeply relational and integrative, anchored in relational models as a baseline while seamlessly incorporating other evidence-based and structural modalities:

Psychodynamic & Relational Integration: At the core of my practice is exploring deeper unconscious processes, relational dynamics, and transference/countertransference patterns within the client-therapist matrix.

Schema Therapy Mastery: I help supervisees confidently integrate Schema Therapy into individual and relational work. We look closely at mapping client schemas, navigating complex "schema clashes" in couples therapy, and recognizing how your own schemas intersect with the therapeutic relationship.

MBT & DBT Frameworks: I offer specialised guidance on utilizing Mentalisation-Based Therapy (MBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help your clients regulate intense emotional storms, manage executive dysfunction, and cultivate deeper self-awareness.

Neuroaffirmative Supervision: I provide dedicated support on adapting your integrated relational framework to support Autistic and ADHD clients safely through burnout and trauma without relying on masking.

Complex Trauma: Backed by deep expertise in C-PTSD, anxiety, and relational conflict, I support you in pacing trauma processing safely for your clients while managing the emotional impact on you as a practitioner.

When you choose me as your supervisor, your professional development is supported by extensive institutional and leadership experience:

Clinical Leadership Background: Practicing as a Chartered Psychologist since 2012, I have held senior management and clinical leadership roles within the NHS. My background includes managing highly specialized, busy therapy teams at the Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust and the East London NHS Foundation Trust.

Academic & Professional Credentials: I hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (UEL), an MSc in Clinical Psychology, and a BSc from Goldsmiths. I am fully registered with the HCPC and BPS.

I offer supervision both online and in person at my practice in North West London (NW6). Whether you are an experienced practitioner looking to deepen your relational integration, or a newly qualified psychologist navigating private practice or the NHS, we will work entirely at your pace to build a sustainable, meaningful career.

If you are looking for a supervisor who combines rigorous clinical excellence with a warm, authentic, and empowering approach, please reach out to schedule an initial discussion.
