Supervision details
I'm used to working in contexts where things feel complicated, unclear or high stakes. Much of my work has involved supporting people with the impact of traumatic experiences and risk related concerns. I'm trained in various risk assessments, Autism and ADHD assessment tools.
I'm particularly interested in working relationally. I'm curious, and like to make space for the parts of people that are not easily understood. I hope to create a space where you can be yourself and where here we might not have all the answers.
I have training across several therapies which includes CAT, EMDR, CFT, Schema, RO-DBT (level 2), Cognitive Processing therapy and Prolonged Exposure therapy.
The Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT) is a registered charity. They welcome members of the public, health professionals, ACAT accredited professionals, and anyone interested in finding out more about CAT. They list CAT practitioners.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
