Supervision details
I offer clinical supervision that is collaborative, reflective, and supportive, providing a safe and structured space for therapists and trainees to explore their work with clients. My approach is grounded in an integrative and relational framework, drawing on my experience as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, EMDR practitioner, DBT-informed therapist, and Clinical Supervisor. I work across a range of settings, including mental health services, substance rehabilitation, and voluntary sector organisations, which gives me a broad understanding of complex clinical presentations and systems of care. Supervision with me is not about “checking up” on practice, but about creating a thoughtful and honest space where you can reflect on client work, explore your emotional responses, develop clinical confidence, and strengthen ethical decision-making. I also support supervisees in recognising their own limits, working safely within their competence, and knowing when and how to seek additional support. I place strong emphasis on the parallel process, self-awareness, and the impact of the therapist’s own experiences within the therapeutic relationship. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may include case discussion, skills development, emotional processing, and professional growth. Above all, I aim to offer a respectful, grounded, and containing supervisory relationship where you can feel supported, challenged, and able to grow in your practice.
