Supervision details
As an art therapist, I work with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse emotional, social, and emotional needs, and I supervise UK and international art therapists working with these populations. I have worked, and continue to work with, a diverse range of presentations. I have particular interest and expertise in loss, bereavement and grief, disabilities and neurodiversity, anxiety, self-harm and emotional regulation.
My theoretical approach is grounded in psychodynamic, object relations, and attachment theory, enriched by eclectic, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed perspectives. Additionally I utilise the seven eyed model, developmental and cyclical approaches to supervision to support and frame my supervisory practice. Within these frames, I offer supervisees a safe, creative space to explore challenges, express themselves, and support growth.
My supervision style is rooted in respect, collaboration, and curiosity—fostering relational trust and reflective practice tailored to each supervisee’s unique strengths and needs. I offer a collaborative and grounded space to support insight, growth, and meaningful change. If this sounds like a partnership that could work for your practice, please get in touch. I look forward to being part of your supervision journey.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
