Supervision details
I am an experienced therapist who qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in 2013, and I bring a compassionate, reflective, and collaborative approach to supervision. I believe supervision should offer a supportive space where therapists feel able to think openly about their work, deepen their understanding, and continue developing their clinical skills.
For me, good supervision balances learning, professional development, and self-exploration. It is a space to reflect on the therapeutic relationship, explore challenges safely, and build confidence in your clinical decision-making. I aim to create an environment that feels warm, thoughtful, and non-judgemental, where curiosity and reflection are encouraged.
Alongside my core therapeutic work, I have a particular specialism in perinatal mental health. I welcome therapists who are working with clients during pregnancy and the postnatal period and can offer supervision that considers the unique psychological, relational, and systemic factors present during this time.
I am also available to provide regular supervision or ad hoc case consultation for therapists seeking additional support when working with perinatal presentations. Whether you are looking for ongoing supervision or a reflective space to think through specific cases, my aim is to support you in feeling confident, resourced, and supported in your work.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
