Hi, thanks for visiting my profile! I am Chartered Counselling Psychologist and I have many years working clinically in the NHS and supervising a number of colleagues from different professions. I want to work collaboratively with you to understand your supervision needs and think about your development and learning as a clinician. In my own clinical practice I draw from a number of different modalities, including CBT, Schema therapy, CFT and ACT and I'm also trained and use several trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR. In my NHS job my focus is on perinatal Psychology but I have experience across a range of settings and specialisms. Please get in touch if you'd like to have an initial chat!
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
