BA (Hons) MBACP Registered - Individual & Couples Therapist

About me

Individual and couples therapy – Reconnect with yourself and others
Are you feeling overwhelmed in your relationships, stuck in painful patterns, or struggling with anxiety, low mood, or addiction? Do you find yourself repeating choices that don’t serve you, even when you know they’re harmful? You’re not alone, and it doesn’t have to stay this way.

I work with individuals and couples who are navigating the emotional aftermath of relational trauma, narcissistic abuse, family dysfunction, or addiction. Many of my clients also come to therapy feeling the effects of bullying, toxic workplace dynamics, or experiences where their voice and boundaries have been undermined.

When we grow up in emotionally unavailable or chaotic environments or experience relational trauma in adult life, we often adapt by suppressing parts of ourselves, abandoning our needs, or repeating the very patterns we long to escape. These wounds can show up as low self-esteem, people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, addictive behaviours, codependency, or difficulty setting boundaries.

My aim is to help you rebuild your connection to yourself so you can feel more grounded, empowered, and at peace in your relationships and your life.

I offer a therapeutic and coaching approach that helps you:

  • Reclaim your inner voice
  • Restore healthy boundaries
  • Recover from trauma and emotional pain
  • Break free from cycles of addiction, shame, and self-doubt
Heal from bullying, narcissistic abuse, and toxic systems (at home or work)
  • Build healthier, more authentic relationships with both yourself and those you love

As a Relational Therapist and Recovery Coach, I draw on a range of therapeutic models including person-centred therapy, transactional analysis, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice. This allows me to adapt our work to your individual needs and life experiences, whether you’re seeking deep emotional healing, practical tools for change, or both.

What to expect
We begin with an introductory session in person or online via Zoom (50 minutes, £15) where you can ask any questions and get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure to continue, but if it feels like the right fit, we’ll arrange weekly or bi-weekly sessions to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and compassionate space. I work with both individuals and couples.

Whether you’re dealing with trauma, relationship struggles, addiction, emotional overwhelm, or toxic dynamics at work or home, this work is about helping you reconnect with yourself, with others, and with what truly matters to you.

If you feel ready to take the first step toward making a change, please get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
