Mother Nature: A 5 week journey to restore & reconnect for mums
Mother Nature is an intimate five-week journey for mothers seeking reconnection with themselves through nature. Meeting in a cosy yurt and sacred garden in Kent, this small group experience blends creative practices, rituals, and reflection to foster self-awareness and community in a nurturing environment.
We will meet at The Quiet View on Wednesdays for 5 consecutive weeks during term time. Our next series runs from 23rd April to 21st May 2025.
Sessions take place from 12:30-2:15pm.
Who is the group for?
This intimate group is limited to just six mothers who wish to reconnect more deeply with themselves through nature in a supportive community setting.
All mothers are welcome. Your booking secures your place for the full series of five sessions, allowing you to build meaningful connections and share this transformative journey together. If you have any questions prior to booking, please also use the registration form at the bottom of this page – no payment will be taken until we have discussed any questions you have.
Where is the group?
We will meet in person at The Quiet View, Kingston (near Canterbury, Kent).
We will spend the sessions both inside, cocooned in the womblike yurt, and outside, in the sacred garden of The Quiet View, overlooking the rolling hills and woodland of Kingston. Find out more about The Quiet View.
There is parking for several cars available on site – we encourage lift sharing, and will share group email addresses (with consent) to enable this.
What we will be doing
The Mother Nature group aims to foster self awareness, compassion, confidence, community and growth through sharing stories, creative exploration and connecting to the wild ways of mother earth and our other-than-human kin.
This weekly group is a space to tune into what it means to “just be”. To be nurtured. To be present for yourself, as you are. To be welcomed in all the ways you show up as yourself.
In my role as group facilitator, I will work with nature as co-facilitator to weave in creative practices, rituals and invitations to connect more deeply with yourself and our earth. What we do each week will depend a little on the weather and what emerges in the group, but it may include storytelling, art making, short medicine walks in the garden, guided walks through the labyrinth, working with natural metaphors, creative explorations around identity and motherhood, and grief work.
Based on interest, new groups will be formed each term.
Cost
I am offering Mother Nature on a sliding scale to ensure accessibility for all. Choose the rate that honestly reflects your financial situation:
- £75 – If you’re currently struggling to meet basic needs
- £150 – If you can comfortably meet basic needs
- £200 – If you can meet basic needs and maintain savings
This is a trust-based system and you will not be asked for any proof of income. Those able to contribute at higher levels directly support access for mothers facing financial constraints. All participants receive the same complete experience regardless of payment tier.
The fee includes the block of five sessions, plus hot drinks and all materials.
