Monthly in-person support group for trainees and therapists

Ongoing
Counsellors and trainees
£20 per session for trainees, £30 per session for qualified therapists
30 Whitehall Street, Dundee, DD1 4AF

Private practice can feel isolating, and being an expat can add extra challenges. This monthly group offers a safe and supportive space for trainee and newly qualified counsellors working in English as a second language.

Facilitated by a BACP-accredited counsellor of Ukrainian origin, with a background in academia and a professional interest in trauma, it is designed for those at an early stage of practice. The group provides an opportunity to connect, share experiences, gain new perspectives, and develop practical skills to grow as a culturally aware therapist while reducing isolation.

The group is open-ended and meets in a cosy, welcoming office in the centre of Dundee, accommodating up to five people. A new group starts on the 21st of April and will run monthly on the third Tuesday, from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
