Caring for our memories
A one-day biography workshop co-facilitated by Lisa Harbour and Pauline Marksteiner.
How do we care for our memories in a way that honours both ourselves as we are now, and the memory as it was then? What might a memory need from us to transform, to soften, to speak or to be held meaningfully? Can our memories become resources as spaces to nurture new growth?
Our memories need open-hearted, gentle, non-judgemental care. Rather than hiding, denying or suppressing them, can we find a way of listening to them in deeper ways? Perhaps in ways we have not considered before.
This workshop will integrate reflective discussions and biographical and artistic exercises to explore this theme in a safe and creative way.
