About me
Well done for taking the very first and difficult step and reaching out. My name is Zoe and I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, this means it is all about you, what you want to talk about and how you are feeling with the added CBT accreditation.
I am credentialed in the UK with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, & depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
I will offer you a space where you feel able to be open and honest, without fear of judgement. My job is to make you feel as comfortable as possible for the duration of your therapy journey. I am compassionate , understanding and I am ready to hear you when maybe others cant or wont.
I offer face to face sessions in my garden therapy room, video calls and phone call sessions if you prefer. There are no expectations or pressure for frequency of sessions, the choice will remain 100% yours. The sessions are 45 minutes long regardless of the platform we use and they are solely led by you. I will be there to support and walk alongside you throughout your process.
I work with individuals both adults and teenagers 13+ in years.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in therapeutic counselling Level 4 and Level 3 accreditation in CBT. I am a person centred counsellor. I also have an accreditation in Trauma informed therapy through the Open University.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
