About me

Therapy work (individual, couples and groups):

I see therapy as a space where two experts meet: my clients brings the wisdom of their lived experience, and I use models like Compassion Focused Therapy, CBT and Behavioural Couple Therapy to find helpful ways to understand and respond to what is happening. Therapy with me is more than talking - it's also about working together with couples and individuals to find their step.

The clients that find me most helpful are those who may feel like all their experiences are all pointing to the painful conclusion that there must be something fundamentally wrong with them. I specialise in supporting people to navigate OCD, emetophobia, depression affecting a relationship and the aftershocks of pregnancy loss. Christians navigating emotional pain that conflict with their beliefs may also find that we are a good match.

I like my clients to know that they don't need to have it all figured out to reach out to me. I encourage my clients to start with the questions if they don't have the answers.

Later this year, I hope to offer a therapy group that makes space for men to share and process their experiences of pregnancy loss with other grieving fathers. This is a unique type of grief which I believe needs its own space.

Supervision work: I offer one-to-one online supervision to newly qualified CBT therapists who have completed the PgDip in HICBT.
