About me
Do you feel that things from your past keep coming up in your life, in your relationships with others and yourself? Do want to understand where they have from, how they have impacted you and how to start to make meaningful changes in your life?
I offer Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) for both adults and young people. I also offer adapted CAT therapy to those people who have a diagnosis of ADHD. CAT is a collaborative approach that helps you understand the repeating patterns in your life and relationships, explore where they come from, and consider new ways of responding. It’s a structured, yet flexible therapy that allows us to work together at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is human, relatable, and down-to-earth. I focus on meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you make sense of your experiences. Therapy is not about “fixing” you – it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make choices that work for you. I also try and make therapy fun (as it could be) and an enjoyable experience.
I have experience supporting people with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship struggles, self-esteem challenges, and feeling “stuck” or overwhelmed. Drawing on my background as a Mental Health Nurse, I bring practical understanding alongside my CAT training, helping you explore your experiences safely and effectively.
Sessions are collaborative, tailored to your needs, and focused on helping you understand your patterns and find ways to move forward. Whether you’re seeking support for ongoing difficulties or trying to make sense of recent challenges, I offer a warm and professional space to explore what matters most to you.
