About me
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck between the life they are living and the life that truly reflects who they are.
I often work with thoughtful, self-aware individuals who sense they are capable of more in life but find themselves repeating patterns they don’t fully understand.
Often this can feel confusing or frustrating, especially when you're not sure why the same patterns keep repeating
This gap is often shaped by an “old story” or identity formed through earlier experiences.
Part of our work together is bringing awareness to these patterns and helping you develop a new sense of self that aligns with the life you want to live.
Many of the patterns that shape your life today were once strategies that helped you survive earlier experiences. Over time, these patterns can become an “old story” or identity you unconsciously live from, including beliefs about who you are, what you deserve, or what is possible for you in life
In our work together, we explore how these patterns formed and begin the process of closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
I often work with thoughtful, self-aware individuals who sense they are capable of more in life but find themselves repeating patterns they do not fully understand. Many of my clients are also navigating questions around identity, culture, faith, or belonging, particularly when they feel caught between different expectations, cultures, or versions of themselves.
How I Work
I am a psychodynamic therapist who helps you understand and break the patterns shaped by earlier experiences that continue to affect your self-worth, relationships, and life direction today.
Many of my clients are navigating questions around identity, belonging, culture, or faith, particularly when they feel caught between different expectations, cultures, or versions of themselves.
Therapy offers a space to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion so they no longer quietly shape your life from the background.
I sometimes integrate elements of coaching for clients who want support not only in understanding the past, but also in creating meaningful change in the present.
This may include developing healthier habits, building confidence, improving relationship dynamics, or working toward goals related to wellbeing, career, and life direction.
If this resonates with you, feel free to get in touch and we can explore whether working together feels like the right fit.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions regarding the way I work, or if you would like to arrange a free 15-minute initial consultation.
During our first session, I will take a few basic details and invite you to share more about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it.
I aim to create a space where people feel comfortable and at ease, as I understand the courage it can take to begin or return to therapy.
