About me

I'm a registered integrative psychotherapist with extensive experience working with a variety of issues, such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, addiction (love, codependency, porn, 12-step informed, drug and gambling), confidence, relationships, intimacy, panic attacks, motivation, burnout, goal setting, self-worth, self-esteem, ADHD and ASD, perfectionism and shame.

If you are feeling lost, overwhelmed, or stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts; or you’re finding it challenging to navigate life right now and are seeking clarity and some guidance - or maybe you feel ‘okay’ and just want to improve your overall well being. I offer counselling, psychotherapy and coaching in-person and online. Using a unique blend of approaches and techniques, including:

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
  • Solution-focused brief therapy

I also have an interest in working with men's issues. You may be grappling with low self-worth, and harsh self-criticism. You may sense there is lots ‘unresolved’ within you that you’re ready to look at. Get in touch to start working towards getting things back on track.

Whether it's overcoming procrastination, challenges within your relationships or finding a way to understand and manage your emotions, I’m here to support you.

If anxiety, depression, trauma, or addiction are creating roadblocks, or if you're simply searching for a sense of purpose and motivation, know that you don’t have to face this alone.

Together, we can explore these feelings, working towards a deeper understanding of yourself and the tools needed to navigate life's challenges.

I offer sessions:

  • Face to Face: my therapy space is in St Leonards, East Sussex.
  • Remote sessions online: from the comfort of your own home.

We will build up a picture of where you are and where you want to get to. Spending as much time as you need on processing prior to moving forward. I focus on the body/mind connection. Bringing attention to the body frequently.

Whether you need guidance or to be challenged, I can support you. We will develop an approach together that works specifically for you. We'll collaborate. Each week, you'll have a dedicated space to delve into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Toolkit:

  • Person-centred: The answers are within you, and I’m here as a facilitator, holding a space for you to discover these answers.
  • Parts Work: Helps you explore the various facets of your personality and emotions, fostering self-compassion and understanding as we welcome each part of you.
  • Breathwork: By harnessing the incredible power of your breath, we can use this tool to regulate and feel feelings.
  • Mindfulness: I integrate mindfulness practices and principles to help you cultivate self-awareness, manage stress, and live in the present moment.
  • Internal Family Systems [Informed]
  • 30-Day Programme [for Addiction]: Receive a structured daily programme to facilitate deep transformation and growth.

Benefits of Working Together

Past clients have shared that they heightened their self-confidence and cultivated a deeper sense of self-compassion. There’s been some substantial personal growth, marked by a reduction in negative thinking and an increased awareness of their inner selves. Through our collaborative efforts, individuals learned to lean into their experiences, effectively processing and understanding what unfolds. The work equipped them with enhanced self-regulation skills, fostering a more open and connected relationship with themselves.

As a result, clients frequently expressed newfound clarity and direction, confidently moving forward in their lives.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
