About me

Are you feeling anxious, down or depressed do you feel you have lost your way,  feel stuck or can't stop overthinking. I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space, where you can talk about and explore what is going on for you and build ways to cope and change patterns of behaviour or thoughts.

What I specialise in

I have experience from voluntary roles and paid roles, helping support clients struggling with depression, anxiety, work related stress, panic attacks,  bereavement,  childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, self-harm, relationship issues.

About me

I got into Counselling when someone I care deeply about was let down and judged over their mentaI health, cast aside and just another statistic. I never wanted another person to feel that way  so I decided to train to help others in the same boat, so they feel heard and understood. I am passionate about what I do.

I offer

Face to face, Online and telephone sessions. If you feel ready to talk, or have a question call or email me I am happy to answer any questions you may have no matter how big or small. I offer flexible appointments including late nights and weekends to suit your needs.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
