About me
At the moment I do not have any appointments.
Hello and welcome; my name is Vivienne, and my background is in Integrative Counselling, Psychosexual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Sex Addiction/Compulsion and Clinical Supervision.

Talking therapy
Counselling works, and when you come to visit me, you will be in an environment that feels safe and secure. My cabin is a little haven, where you can relax in a comfortable chair and talk to someone who is interested in your welfare and has the skills to assist you in finding your own way through whatever it is that troubles you. The work we will do will help you.
· Identify areas that you might want to focus on
· Work through the difficulties that you are currently going through
· Discover what options you have and help you to find the right path forward
· Cope with change and/or make the changes you want to
· Learn new ways of coping by creating a deeper understanding of yourself
· Feel better about yourself and your life
· See a way forward and make progress towards feeling hopeful
Couples Therapy
When partners start to struggle in the relationship there is always underlining issues going on that haven't been addressed. This is how the blaming starts and the divide gets bigger and bigger.
Coming for couples therapy will help you both to recognise this, and work towards reuniting you as the team you were when you started out or allowing you to part respectfully and amicably.
Sex Therapy
Will help you understand and overcome any sexual issues you may feel you have. This work has homework exercises set each week, and before that I take an in-depth history of your life and sexual experiences.
Sex therapy will help you understand your needs and will educate you into any conditions you may have. This work is for individuals and couples.
Areas covered.
· Low or lack of desire
· Erectile disfunction
· Rapid or delayed ejaculation
· Pain on intercourse
· Anorgasmia
· Fear of intercourse
· Fear of pregnancy
· Fear of orgasm
Combined Therapy
I can, if you choose, combine the therapy to suit your individual needs. The response that combining therapies has given to my clients has been incredible. Using NLP and Hypnotherapy in conjunction with counselling, gives more depth to you the client and your own personal understanding of the situation. The sessions are very often interspersed with laughter as laughter is the key to combating fear and depression.
Walking talking therapy
The therapy session remains the same, the difference is we are walking and talking in fresh air, combining movement with therapy.
Walking therapy works especially well for those suffering from anxiety, as often the thought of sitting opposite a therapist for 50 minutes couldn't be anymore nerve racking and walking and talking takes that pressure away.
How will walking and talking therapy help? It is well documented that exercise releases endorphin's that make us feel happier, combine that with a counselling session; what could be better.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
