About me

I am a highly skilled and qualified Senior Counsellor and Psychotherapist with extensive experience within the NHS Mental Health, University and Charity sectors having worked and working with a extensive range of issues. I currently work within the NHS secondary care X2 and private practice settings.

I believe that through the process of understanding one's mind we can lead rich and self-fulfilling lives with greater depth, understanding and enriched relationships. The relationship between the therapist and patient can be a vehicle for growth of the individual and it is by this that the process can help the individual begin to understand themselves and their experiences.

I offer therapy in a calm and supportive environment, in North West & Central London, to encourage exploration and understanding of your personal issues. There is disabled access and parking available at the property, which is close to Canons Park and Edgware Underground stations.  I also have a consulting room on Harley Street, London.

Your sessions will be spent talking about what is going on in your life. We will work together and think about what's happening and help understand why. With the approach I work within we will think together about the patterns of thinking, behaviour and feelings in how experiences have affected you both in the past and present to help go forward.

Get in touch...
The initial consultation appointments will be about getting to know you and what has brought you to consider having counselling.  We will also talk about important matters including confidentiality and the BACP code of ethics that I work within.

Please contact me by telephone on 07462 047 008 or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).  This is important in ensuring a counsellor or therapist is experienced and can be trusted.

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
