About me

I am an adult psychodynamic psychotherapist working with individuals and couples/relationship counselling and psychotherapy.

I am available and offer supervision for psychotherapists in private practice and within the NHS.

I have several years experience within the NHS where I also work as a highly specialist psychotherapist in addition to being in private practice.

I believe that through the process of understanding one's mind we can lead rich and self-fulfilling lives with greater depth, understanding and enriched relationships. The relationship between the therapist and patient can be a vehicle for growth of the individual and it is by this that the process can help the individual begin to understand themselves and their experiences.

I offer therapy in a calm and supportive environment, in North West, Central and South London, to encourage exploration and understanding of your personal issues. There is disabled access and parking available at the property, which is close to Canons Park and Edgware Underground stations.  (I also have a clinic and consulting rooms in Central and South London).

Your sessions will be spent talking about what is going on in your life. We will work together and think about what's happening and help understand why. With the approach I work within we will think together about the patterns of thinking, behaviour and feelings in how experiences have affected you both in the past and present to help go forward.

Get in touch...
The initial consultation appointments will be about getting to know you and what has brought you to consider having counselling.  We will also talk about important matters including confidentiality and the BPC code of ethics that I work within.

Please contact me by telephone on 07462 047 008 or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I am Registered with The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC)

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.

BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
