Do you want to feel empowered & full of clarity, calm & peaceful, emotionally aware & connected, unfettered and free, high achieving, full of self-worth & belief, a strong sense of purpose & identity, healed, joyful & hopeful, composed, focused on the present & future, less self-judgement? Training, qualifications & experience

Psychotherapy qualifications, accreditation and experience

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have a master’s degree at Regents University in Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have worked in the mental health charity sector for five years, supporting and then steering the therapeutic process for clients. My therapeutic experience has involved working with a diversity of clients with the following challenges: grief, anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic pain, relational breakdown, bereavement, sexual identity concerns, shame and guilt issues, human torture, sexual and child abuse, trauma and PTSD.

Transformational coaching qualifications, accreditation and experience

I have worked within the Banking sector as a senior HR professional for sixteen years, providing coaching, negotiation and conciliation support throughout that time. I am also an accredited Transformational Coach with Animas, which is recognised by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My coaching experience has involved working with a diversity of clients with the following challenges: business set-up and planning, value-set re-evaluation, low self-esteem and anxiety, life crossroad challenges and self-confidence issues.

Corporate Work experience

I have worked in a fast paced and high stress environment in the City for 16 years in numerous HR Leadership roles. Within this environment I have worked with top leadership teams, looking after customer bases of up to 5000 employees at a time. My role has involved ensuring that the people strategy is a key enabler to the business plan across the following areas: employee wellbeing, engagement, reward, development, talent, leadership and relations. This involves cultivating an organizational culture and infrastructure that promotes and nurtures individuals and teams to thrive in respect of business performance, personal development and mental health and engagement. My experience is providing individual and/or team executive, performance coaching and leadership coaching.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
