About me

*January 2025 update: My practice is currently full and I am not accepting new clients. If we have worked together in the past, or you have received a specific referral, please message me.*

No issue is unimportant, if it’s troubling you.

If you’re here, I imagine you’re feeling stuck in some way.  Talking about what's happening for you, with someone who is trained and separate from your day-to-day life, can help clarify things and get you unstuck.

Counselling doesn’t replace conversations with friends and family; it creates a dedicated space for personal reflection. In my experience, it's also very different to simply think things through alone. In our work, you set the pace and we will jointly explore any changes you’d like to make.

I use a style of therapy called Transactional Analysis, because it has some useful ideas that help make sense of complicated life experiences. I'm happy to share these with you, or simply talk through what’s happening for you. The choice is yours.

I offer a free 50-minute first session, so you can get a feel for how I work.

I’m happy to answer any questions you might have. Just call, message, or email me. I'm also available on WhatsApp and facebook Messenger.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling and I am a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA). I am also a full clinical member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I’m fully insured, Data Protection Registered (ICO) and criminal-record checked (DBS).

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
