About me
Behind every “I’m fine” is a story that often goes unseen - a story that deserves time, space, and understanding. Inside, you may be feeling anxious, stressed, burned out, or struggling to cope. Perhaps you feel frustrated, tearful, or unable to switch off; or maybe you feel low, disconnected or carry a quiet sense of not feeling good enough, even when you’re doing your best. Sometimes, how we feel is hard to name.
Looking for a therapist can feel like one of the hardest first steps, and you’ve already begun. My approach is simple - I’m a person first and a therapist second. I will meet you exactly where you are without judgement or expectation and support you with reconnecting with parts of yourself you may have learned to hide or push aside, working together to bring a sense of wholeness and hope.
I’m Victoria, a psychotherapist, counsellor, and hypnotherapist, working with adults. I support clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief/loss, low self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges and women experiencing midlife change.
My approach is integrative, drawing from person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, somatic and hypnotherapeutic models, to gently access deeper patterns and support lasting change. This allows me to adapt our work to you - none of us is the same and therapy shouldn’t be either. When appropriate and supportive, I incorporate sound therapy (gongs and crystal bowls) to help regulate and calm the nervous system and support emotional processing.
What to expect in our sessions? My style is warm, real, and human. You don’t need to filter your thoughts, tidy your emotions, or worry about saying the right thing. However you arrive - overwhelmed, anxious, tearful, frustrated, quiet, or perhaps even wondering at the absurdity of it all - it’s all welcome. I offer a calm, open and confidential space where you can explore your inner world at your own pace, working towards meaningful, lasting change and helping you feel more grounded, connected and confident in yourself.
You don’t have to navigate this alone if you feel ready. I’d be honoured to work with you.
