About me
I am a person-centred counsellor who is also qualified in CBT therapy and Creative therapies, with over 25 years of working with children, young people and adults with additional needs and their families and carers in and out of educational settings before focussing on counselling and creative art therapies.
Counselling is a talking therapy that meets you at your point of need and supports you on your counselling journey, empowering you to be able to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe non-judgemental, confidential space at your own pace. There is no number of expected sessions, I offer open-ended counselling with regular reviews to ensure that you are getting the support you need.
I support clients with wide range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, gender Identity, SEND, long term and chronic conditions and Neurodiversity amongst many other things. My counselling spaces are both fully accessible with the option to take sessions online if needed.
How I work
My integrative stance allows me to adapt the sessions collaborating with clients to meet their needs and styles of working e.g. talking therapy, using creative mediums, addressing neurodiverse needs, environment specific therapy being flexible and adapting to best support them as their needs change.
