About me

On line sessions available. March 2020 - offering some ultralow cost sessions on line to offer psychological support during this anxious time - priority given to those isolated/ on low income/unable to access therapy - £15 per session rather than £45.

In our first session we can consider what might be bringing you to therapy and if we think we can work well together - research shows that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is the most important indicator to therapy being successful

We can explore what feels difficult in your life and how a safe, confidential and collaborative relationship may help. I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety and stress, depression, self-esteem issues, bereavement and caring for ill family members, trauma, relationship problems, women's issues, work stress problems and anger. I also have an interest in working with adult only children and the issues that arise in mid life.

I am a qualified Psychotherapist and counsellor, and have a Masters Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.

If you wish to make an appointment, or ask me any questions you may have contact me using my contact form at the top of my profile or by phone, 07940 708444

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

Wheelchair user access

Therapy room is on the second floor of a Georgian building, sadly with no lift. However I also offer online and telephone sessions.
