I’m Vicky Ashraf, a qualified counsellor, ADHD coach, and relationship therapist with over 17 years of experience supporting adults and couples to make sense of what’s been difficult for years and to find ways forward that truly fit their lives.
I work entirely online across the UK and internationally, so you can access support without travel or logistical stress.
My services
1:1 Counselling – Support for Anxiety, Confidence and Life Challenges
Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to keep everything together? Perhaps you’re hard on yourself, stuck in old patterns, or carrying experiences that still quietly affect your confidence and relationships.
I offer one-to-one counselling in a warm, confidential, online space where you can talk things through at your own pace.
Together we gently explore what’s been weighing on you, make sense of your experiences, and find ways forward that feel manageable and realistic.
My integrative approach means I adapt to you, rather than asking you to fit into a particular model.
ADHD Therapeutic Coaching & Support
Living with ADHD, especially if you were diagnosed later in life, can feel confusing, frustrating, and exhausting. You might have spent years wondering why things felt harder than they should, only to realise later that it all makes sense now, but you're still left not knowing how to bridge the gap between insight and daily life.
As someone who is late-diagnosed with ADHD myself, I bring both personal insight and professional training to this work. I blend therapeutic depth with coaching clarity to help you:
Build self-esteem and reduce self-criticism
Develop strategies that work with your brain
Improve organisation, motivation and confidence
Navigate workplace challenges with structure and support
Reduce overwhelm and emotional dysregulation
This combination of ADHD counselling and coaching creates lasting change, understanding and practical skill-building, which many clients tell me is what truly helps them thrive.
Couples Therapy & Relationship Support
Relationships are deeply personal and sometimes deceptively complex. If you and your partner feel stuck in repeating patterns, misunderstandings, or emotional distance, couples therapy can help you reconnect in ways that feel safe and authentic.
I’m a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and work with couples to:
Slow down reactive cycles
Understand what’s keeping you stuck
Rebuild emotional connection
Communicate in ways that feel constructive
I specialise in neurodiverse relationships, especially where one partner has ADHD and the other does not. These dynamics can create misunderstandings that feel confusing, invisible, or unfair to both partners.
My professional training in working with different neurotypes, combined with my own lived experience of ADHD, means I’m able to guide couples through those differences with understanding, curiosity, compassion and respect.
I also work with any couple, neurodiverse or not, who are facing challenges such as communication struggles, trust issues, emotional disconnection and life transitions.
Why Work With Me
I offer a warm, compassionate online space where you can slow things down, feel truly heard, and explore ways forward that actually fit your life.
My style is grounded, down-to-earth and gently supportive, combining therapeutic depth with practical tools so that change feels possible, not overwhelming.
Clients often say they feel quickly at ease with me, safe, understood and supported in ways that make a real difference.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
