About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling in your relationships?
Life’s challenges can sometimes feel too much to handle alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, unresolved past issues or relationship difficulties, therapy and coaching can provide the space you need to explore, heal, and move forward.
I’m Vicky Ashraf, a qualified counsellor and life coach with over 17 years of experience, offering compassionate, non-judgmental support tailored to your needs. I believe in working collaboratively to help you gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and embrace change. I am dedicated to empowering individuals and couples to reclaim control and foster a more meaningful life.
1:1 Counselling – Support for Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, and Life Challenges
Do you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted by trying to keep everything together?
Have past experiences left you feeling stuck or unable to move forward?
Are you struggling with low self-worth, negative thinking, or difficulty setting boundaries?
I provide integrative counselling, which means I tailor my approach to what works best for you. Sessions offer a safe, confidential space to explore your emotions, process challenges, and develop strategies to help you feel more confident, capable, and in control.
Couples Therapy - Helping You Reconnect and Communicate
Are you and your partner stuck in the same frustrating patterns?
Do small misunderstandings turn into big arguments?
Has ADHD or neurodivergence impacted your relationship dynamic?
As a certified Imago Relationship Therapist, I help couples improve their communication, reconnect emotionally, and work through underlying issues in a way that fosters understanding rather than conflict. Whether you’re dealing with communication breakdowns, trust issues, or emotional disconnection, therapy can help rebuild your relationship.
ADHD Therapeutic Coaching - Support for Women with ADHD
Being a woman with ADHD, especially if diagnosed later in life, certainly comes with its challenges. You may feel constantly overwhelmed, have low self-worth, struggle with procrastination, or experience emotional ups and downs that impact your work and relationships.
As someone with personal and professional experience of ADHD, I understand the difficulties and frustrations it brings. My approach helps you:
Build self-esteem and reduce self-criticism.
Develop coping strategies tailored to your ADHD brain.
Improve organisation, motivation, and emotional regulation.
Navigate relationships affected by ADHD traits.
Why Work With Me?
Clients often describe me as warm, understanding, and real. I bring a blend of professional expertise and lived experience, ensuring you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, it’s about helping you understand yourself, develop self-compassion, and find ways to move forward.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
