About me
In my work, I feel it’s a wonderful privilege to see the transition from clients who are struggling with both internal and external factors, (either individually or as a couple) move forward to understanding themselves and their world in a way that feels much more manageable, lighter and even enjoyable. Life can feel so incredibly hard sometimes and I think we all need that space to just be able to talk freely, to be heard, to be understood, and to try and make sense of things around us.
I will help you to be kind and compassionate to yourself and to support you in finding perspective and balance. My own personal therapy absolutely changed my life and I’m so grateful to the therapists who have supported me along the way. I just want to provide my clients with the same incredible opportunities I had with these very inspirational and supportive individuals. I am most definitely, counselling’s number one fan!
I understand it can be quite challenging to express our emotions with those closest to us and to share with them the difficulties that we may be experiencing. I offer a neutral space to explore any kind of issue, no matter how big or small in an environment that is safe, supportive, and confidential.
My belief is that the therapeutic relationship is central to the counselling process and therefore I work in a way that offers warmth, empathy and integrity. I offer a supportive relationship that assists in exploring issues and encourages the development of personal growth. As every person is unique, I feel that no one type of therapy is suited to each individual, so I work with what is known as an integrative approach. Simply, this means that I integrate skills from a number of theories to enable me to offer a sensitive and professional service that is personal to each individual.
Couples Therapy
Are you struggling in your relationship and unsure how to get back on track?
Do you feel you have lost safety and connection with your partner?
Are you at each other’s throats all the time?
Have you stopped making time for each other
Do you struggle to communicate how you are feeling?
Has your relationship fallen into the realms of criticising each other all the time, leading to blaming and shaming?
Do you wonder why you find it so easy to push each other’s buttons?
Do you want something different for your relationship
Would you like to understand what keeps you stuck?
Would you like to strengthen, heal, and reconnect to your relationship?
Do you want to understand the causes of pain and conflict within your relationship?
Do you want to be able to see your relationship from a different perspective, with fresh eyes and openness?
Would you like to move away from confrontation and criticism and towards empathy, compassion, nurture, and understanding?
Using Imago Relationship therapy, I help couples who are struggling and have lost what is important to them, to heal, grow, and reconnect, creating the loving and stable relationship they crave for.
I believe, if you are both willing to commit to therapy and each other, that you can reconnect in a way that leads to a deeper level of understanding, connection, and love
I have been a therapist for over a decade, and I am passionate about making a difference. I would say the most common feedback I get from clients is that I am real, open, and genuine. I care about your relationship, and I feel very privileged to be part of something so incredibly important, that creates clarity, understanding, harmony, and true lasting love

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
