About me

Hi, I'm Vicki, founder of Talks, Walks & Rocks Therapy. I specialise in a holistic approach to therapy, offering traditional talking therapy, walking therapy, coaching therapy, and a unique blend of therapy with Reiki and crystal healing. My focus is on supporting clients through challenges and empowering them to find balance and healing.

With my lovable canine apprentice, Layla (a Labradoodle), I offer additional comfort for anxious clients when needed. Having faced my own personal struggles, I truly believe in the transformative power of therapy, not just as a tool for healing during difficult times but also as a life companion that can guide, steady, and empower you.

Working with me, you'll find a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. Whether you're looking for guidance or a deeper connection, I'm here to help.

I offer online sessions across the UK and face-to-face consultations throughout the West of Scotland, including evening sessions. Reach out via email, and we can arrange a call to see if I'm the right therapist for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified, BACP-registered psychotherapist and counsellor with an MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy (awarded with distinction) from the University of Strathclyde. Prior to my career as a therapist, I built a successful professional background in London, serving as Chief of Staff, Project Manager, and Business Assistant for several world-renowned companies and prominent individuals.

My expertise in fostering strong, productive relationships in high-pressure, complex environments seamlessly translates into my work as a psychotherapist. This unique combination of corporate experience and therapeutic training allows me to connect deeply with CEOs, business leaders, and professionals navigating the demands of high-stakes roles. I understand the pressures and challenges of these environments and provide a compassionate, grounded space to support personal growth, resilience, and well-being.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
