About me

Hello and let me introduce myself. My name is Veronica and I enjoy working with people to be the best that they can be! I have worked with a wide range of ages in mental health, education and social care and have a wealth of understanding of the personal challenges individuals face on a daily basis.

Do you worry about what other people think of you?  Are you experiencing relationship difficulties? Do you feel confused, overwhelmed, lonely with no-one to talk to? We all have times in our lives where we struggle to cope with life’s challenges: Bereavement, Divorce, Redundancy, etc. We may feel out of control and experience Stress, Anxiety or Depression which puts blocks in our way and holds us back. Do you long for things to change but don’t know where to begin?

Therapy can help you take your first steps toward change. It provides time and space to explore and make sense of your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and reactions to situations. Through understanding yourself you can take control and make positive changes enabling you to move forward with your life.

I know from my own experience making the decision to see a counsellor can be daunting! Providing a relaxed, safe and confidential, non-judgemental environment I work with you to explore your difficulties and find out what your needs are. Together we can identify alternative coping strategies to overcome your difficulties.

As a therapist I work from a person centred therapeutic base, drawing on a range of theories and techniques and applying them to the therapeutic process depending upon your individual needs

Lets get started

Give me a call or drop me an email. I offer a free, no obligation, telephone consultation to chat about the service I provide and the issues you are facing.  We can then arrange an initial session to meet face to face.

Sessions are usually weekly or fortnightly to be flexible around your lifestyle.
