About me
Hello and welcome – I’m Valeria, an integrative counsellor and life coach with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges.
I believe in creating a warm, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, facing emotional or relationship difficulties, or navigating a major life transition, I’m here to help you find clarity, build resilience, and reconnect with your true values.
My approach combines therapy and coaching, helping you not only explore your thoughts and emotions but also take practical, results-oriented steps toward real change. Clients often tell me they begin to feel clearer and more empowered within just a few sessions.
I work with a wide range of issues, including:
Confidence and clarity building
Stress and emotional overwhelm
Life and career transitions
Relationship challenges and couples counselling
Living abroad and adapting to new cultures
Living with or supporting someone with chronic illness, including diabetes.
For couples, I provide a compassionate and structured space to improve communication, deepen emotional connection, and resolve conflicts with empathy and understanding.
Sessions are available in both English and Italian, and I offer a free 15-minute video consultation to help you get started.
Training, qualifications & experience
With over 20 years of experience in social care, wellbeing services, and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) counselling, I’ve had the opportunity to support individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges, helping them build resilience, gain clarity, and navigate life’s ups and downs.
I now see clients in my private practice, both across the UK and internationally. My experience of living abroad gives me a deeper understanding of the emotional and cultural challenges people face when adjusting to new environments, though I work with a diverse range of clients, regardless of their background.
My approach is integrative, combining therapeutic techniques with coaching tools to provide practical support alongside emotional healing. I’m here to help you develop confidence, clarity, and take meaningful steps toward creating the life you want.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
