About me
It is not uncommon at some point in our lives to feel stuck or disempowered and to experience a sense of uncertainty, loss or despair with emotions that seem difficult to process. It is part of the therapeutic process to help us understand why events and emotions impact the way we see and experience life, affecting our relationships with others and with ourselves.
Therapy provides a safe and grounding space to explore behaviours or beliefs, possibly rooted in early life experiences, and how these may still affect how we feel, think and react today. Psychotherapy is suitable for anyone wishing to develop self-awareness and a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships with the wider world. The discovery of compassionate self-awareness can be a liberating process. This process allows us to become more present and engaged with ourselves and in our relationships, creating meaningful change. I am an experienced Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner. I work with adults of all ages, gender identities, cultures, religions and backgrounds.
I also work with couples exploring their emotional struggles and successes, redefining their capacity and desire to stay connect while allowing and embracing changes to transform and enhance their relationship.
I offer a calm, safe and confidential setting in my private practice in South London and during my online sessions.
I have had the opportunity to live and work in different countries and cultures. This exposure to alternative ways of thinking, relating to others, dealing with emotions and responding to life’s challenges has enabled me to be particularly open to the journey we all submit ourselves to in search of connectiveness and meaningful life, regardless of our background.
I studied for 15 + years in Bioenergetics, Counselling, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT), Relational and Psychosexual relationship therapies and run a private practice in South London.
I have completed rigorous and thorough clinical and theoretical training in various therapies, and I find that using a combination of carefully applied approaches is highly beneficial, enriching my capacity to address very individual problems.
I am a member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), member the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), The Professional Body for Psychosexual and Relationship Therapists (CORST).
I abide by the Codes of Ethics and Practice set by the Professional Standards Authority Registers. I am covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organisation is itself made up of fourteen member organisations and BPC accredits the trainings of its member organisations. An individual who qualifies from one of these trainings is then eligible for entry into the BPC's register.
BPC registrants are governed by a code of ethics, a policy of continuing professional development, a statement on confidentiality and a complaints procedure. The BPC is a Member Society of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in the Public Sector (EFPP). Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
