About me

Integrative Therapist/Counsellor, MNCS (National Counselling Society Accredited Member), Enhanced DBS Checked.

I am a dedicated and compassionate integrative therapist/counsellor committed to providing high-quality support to individuals seeking guidance and healing. I am a Level 1 IFS (Internal Family System) trained therapist, it is an evidence-based therapeutic model. IFS is a gentle yet powerful approach that helps us understand the different “parts” within ourselves. Through this model, I support clients in developing a compassionate relationship with their inner world, fostering healing, clarity, and emotional balance.

I can help you with a wide range of issues, from everyday stressors to profound traumas.  These experiences could deeply impact your mental health, leading to feelings of anxiety, depression, to post-traumatic stress. However, amidst these struggles, there is hope for healing and growth. I provide a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your emotions, navigate through difficult life events, and uncover healthier coping mechanisms.

I extensively work with individuals who have endured abuse and neglect as well as those who are survivors of sexual abuse.  I recognise the profound effects of such trauma which could present as anxiety, depression, feelings of guilt and shame, substance misuse, self-harm and thoughts of suicide.

I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each client. I draw upon theories, techniques, and tools from various humanistic modalities including Person centred, Relational, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family System, CBT, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy.

I work collaboratively with my clients to develop long-term strategies for coping and resilience. By empowering clients to confront their past experiences and embrace their inner strength, my aim is to facilitate healing and cultivate a sense of hope for the future.

In essence, my practice is dedicated to your mental health, offering a guiding hand towards healing, growth, and ultimately, a more fulfilling life.
