I am a fully qualified Transactional Analysis psychotherapist with many years experience helping people to work through their personal difficulties to experience a happier life and better relationships.
I understand how difficult it is to make that first step and ask for help and so I have a great respect for people when they finally make it through my door.
In my early career I worked in various mental health hospitals and was deeply touched by the pain and confusion that many people fought with day in and day out. These experiences created a deep respect with in me for the human spirit.
I went on to work in the community to help people with various disabilities, both physical and psychological, to lead happy and productive lives.
I eventually trained for four years to become a psychotherapist and then set up my own practice which have been doing ever since.
Why Choose me?
Finding the right therapist who you can trust and feel relaxed with is very important. To begin with I offer an initial thirty minute session for a fee of £10.00. This allows you to talk about what is troubling you, ask me questions and decide if I am the right therapist for you.
How long will I need to come for?
The number of sessions varies from person to person. Some people may only need a few sessions to resolve a particular issue and others may need a number of years. It is what ever suits your needs.
Feel free to contact me and ask any questions that will help you decide whether you want to book a session with me.
