About me
Hi, I'm Tom, an integrative psychotherapist. I use a range of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy to help you manage mental health challenges like anxiety and depression.
Mental health affects all of us, and I truly believe therapy can be a powerful way to improve your situation and help you live the life you choose, rather than feeling stuck in one you don’t.
To provide therapy in the simplest and most effective way, I’ve created an online platform called Youlio. Built around 1:1 therapy with me, Youlio manages all our sessions and allows me to send you readings, questionnaires, activities, and messages, as well as track your mental health progress between sessions.
Therapy is a journey, and the connection between us is key to success. I aim to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe and understood, ready to explore new ways of thinking. Lasting change requires action, and I’m here to guide you, both in and outside of our sessions. If you’re ready to make positive changes, I’d love to work with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I'm trained in integrative psychotherapy through postgraduate study and hold a master's in clinical psychology. With experience in private practice, I created an online platform to offer simple, effective therapy to those seeking support. I also hold certification in mental health for children and young people.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I use a blend of therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy. In your first session, we'll explore your current situation and what you're hoping to achieve. With Schema Therapy, we'll identify patterns from your past, while CBT helps us challenge unhelpful thoughts. Throughout our work, I'll guide you in creating healthier behaviours and ways of thinking.
