About me
If you are suffering your way through anxiety - depression/low mood - stress - anger problems - panic attacks - phobias - low self-esteem - self-harming - eating disorders - post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD, including military) - addiction (all kinds) - obsessions (OCD) - sleep problems - relationship problems; I can help with effective and practical therapy, and difficulties can often be resolved within only a few sessions – sometimes just one – and in this way can provide good value for money.
As a Human Givens therapist I provide safe, reliable and practical help for emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. Using the best evidence based psychological knowledge about resolving such difficulties, I can help you move on with your life to be how and who you want to be.
Tom Lawrence has 20 years experience of helping adults of all ages, children and teenagers. His practical and holistic approach has enabled clients to change quickly, safely and easily - overcoming all sorts of difficulties - to lead a more relaxed and fulfilling life.

The Human Givens Institute (HGI) is both a membership organisation and a professional body representing the interests of those in the caring and teaching professions who have an interest in or utilise the human givens approach. Counselling Directory register Registered Members (MHGI) and Fellow Members (FHGI), who will have completed the Post Graduate Practitioner's Assessment (Part III) and who are fully qualified to practise as a human givens therapist or counsellor. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
