About me
Hello, I’m Timi, an integrative relational therapist.
Sometimes things stop making sense. Patterns repeat, relationships feel hard, or there’s anxiety, low mood, burnout, addiction, ADHD, shame or trauma in the background. There may also be habits, including pornography use, or questions around identity, sexuality and belonging. I can support you in making sense of these experiences.
I work with people across different identities, including LGBTQ+ clients. I offer sessions in person and online, with some evening and weekend availability.
I’m particularly interested in how early experiences shape how we think, feel and relate, and how this shows up in relationships and patterns.
The relationship between us matters. I offer a space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we look at how you’ve been coping, what still works for you, and what might not anymore.
I don’t follow a fixed method. I shape the work around you. We look at thoughts, feelings, behaviour, and what’s happening in your body. I’m interested in how past experiences get held in the body and nervous system, and how that shapes how you respond and relate. Understanding this can help interrupt automatic patterns and open up other ways of responding. Alongside care and empathy, I’ll also gently challenge where it feels useful.
Reaching out can feel like a big step. I’ve been there too. You don’t need the right words. We can start wherever you are.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained at the Metanoia Institute, with my degree awarded by Middlesex University (BSc Humanistic Counselling). I have over five years of experience working in the private sector, supporting people with emotional and relational patterns, and have also worked in a lead role within a private addiction rehabilitation service in London.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
