About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’re carrying too much on your own?

You might be dealing with anxiety that won’t switch off, low mood that’s hard to explain, or a constant feeling that you’re not quite good enough. Maybe you’re navigating grief, relationship challenges, infertility, or the lasting impact of difficult experiences from the past. Or perhaps everything just feels like “a lot” right now and you’re not sure where to start.

Sometimes, you don’t need fixing, you just need the opportunity to be heard properly. My role is to provide a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly, without feeling judged, rushed, or dismissed. A place where your thoughts and feelings are taken seriously, and where you don’t have to hold everything together.

You may feel unheard in other areas of your life, or unsure how to express what’s really going on underneath. My empathetic, pragmatic and supportive approach provides a chance to gently untangle those thoughts, understand yourself better, and start making sense of what you need. I pride myself on providing a place to pause, feel heard, and begin to rebuild a sense of clarity and confidence.

The support I can offer comes from real, hands-on experience working with both adults and young people in a range of settings. Alongside my private practice, I work regularly within a private senior school environment, supporting students through academic pressure, friendships, family dynamics, and the emotional challenges of growing up - including the unique experience of living away from home as a boarder.

If you’ve experienced loss, you’ll be met with care and understanding, without expectations about how you “should” feel. I have several years of experience supporting people through grief with Cruse Bereavement Support, offering a steady, compassionate space for those navigating loss in all its forms - whether recent or something that still lingers.

Clients often come with anxiety, low mood, trauma, low self-worth, or the impact of difficult early experiences, as well as challenges around relationships, stress, and life transitions.  My therapeutic style is shaped around each unique individual, drawing from different approaches so it feels flexible, personal, and grounded in what actually helps.

I am equipped with a strong understanding of neurodiversity, shaped by experience both as a private tutor as well as educational and clinical therapeutic settings. This means sessions can be adapted to suit different ways of thinking and processing, without expectation or pressure to fit a particular mould, and accessible to genuinely meet your needs.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Together, we can look at what’s been weighing on you and find a way to move forward that feels manageable and real for you. There’s no pressure to have the “right words” or a clear plan. You can come exactly as you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
